Shallow concrete shoring pads are a temporary fix. Excessive concrete pads often cause additional damage as shown above. The removal of failed concrete repairs can be very expensive.

Some of the excessive concrete has been cut away for steel pier access. Often times the entire overpour will have to be removed. This is an expensive process. Beware of concrete repairs.

    Remember: shallow concrete methods do not work. Deep driven piers through unstable soil zones provide permanent support. It's much cheaper to install the steel pier the first time. These concrete methods often fail within weeks or months.
